🥈 2ND PLACE AT JPOPE 2026 AND THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING. 🚀

We are incredibly proud to share that SKYLORX, our Smart Home System, has won 2nd position at JPOPE (Journée Portes Ouvertes), held at the iconic Hôtel 2 Février, one of the biggest and most recognized hotels in Togo. 🇹🇬🏆

This achievement means a lot to us not just because of the position, but because of what it represents.

SKYLORX is where hardware meets software. 🤖💻🏠

We are building a system that connects the physical world with intelligent software to make homes and workspaces smarter, safer, more efficient, and easier to control.

With SKYLORX, we are exploring how technology can allow users to control their devices remotely, automate everyday actions, monitor energy consumption, improve security, and make better decisions about how they use electricity.

✅ First year students at IPNET Standing in front of people, presenting something we built ourselves, answering questions, demonstrating our system, and eventually hearing that we had achieved 2nd place was an unforgettable experience.

For us, this isn’t the finish line.

It’s proof that we’re heading in the right direction. Being first-year students, we know there is still so much to learn from embedded systems and IoT to artificial intelligence, software development, electronics, automation, cybersecurity, and product design.

But that’s exactly what makes this journey exciting. We don’t expect to have everything figured out today.

We want to learn, build, fail, improve, rebuild, and keep pushing. Today: 🥈 2nd place. Tomorrow: who knows? 🚀

Our goal isn’t simply to win competitions. Our goal is to become better engineers, developers, innovators, and problem-solvers and to build technology that can have a real impact.

We genuinely believe that by the time we reach our third year, SKYLORX will be far beyond what it is today.

More intelligence. Better hardware. Better software. More powerful features. This award is a reminder that starting small doesn’t mean thinking small.

We started with an idea. We turned that idea into hardware. We connected it to software. We built a working system.

And now we’re standing on a stage at Hôtel 2 Février, proudly representing our work and bringing home 2nd place. 🏆 A huge thank you to everyone who supported us, encouraged us, asked questions, gave us feedback, and believed in what we were building. And congratulations to all the other participants who brought their ideas and projects to JPOPE. The level of creativity and innovation was inspiring. 🔥
